![]() ![]() If you take a Leper with you, buffed to the teeth from camp skills and revenge, just waiting to crit that wench - it should be no surprise if she then steals him to her side and you're forced to watch a Leper Chop or Hew your front-line - and if he's your only damage source? Sucks to be you if that was your plan. The only downside to the battle is that, should it go on for too long, her stress and/or reinforcements can be problematic if your team is put on the backfoot, which is why taking high impact heroes or immobile heroes is just asking for happy-fish-times. She's in hot competition for 'easiest boss in the game' by a wide margin alongside the Necromancer, given her mechanics are far less punishing than most others and has far less strategy nonsense (other than bleeds / holy water being awesome). Take a Flagellant with you and have fun when a charmed Flag casts stress-heal on the boss while she's bleeding for 10-20 damage 2x a round. Which is why you don't put all your eggs into one basket - and again, why bleeds are delicious against such bosses. Said source began critting my team to death, and all I could do was watch and pray for good Death's Door checks.Įven aside from that, on Champion she's almost certainly harder than the Hag just by virtue of summoning Champion-level mobs. I thought she was a cakewalk right up until I had one bad encounter with her, where she MC'd my primary damage source (going right through the Holy Water buff). Honestly, Siren has been one of the easiest bosses in the game for a very long time, just behind the Necromancer. All optional bosses of this kind are found in medium dungeons, which means your goal is to get to a few (if not the LAST) room(s) before the boss and camp to destress/heal and buff the group. ![]() She is a two-turn-per-round boss, thus DoT's are very effective against her. Holy water can provide a much higher chance of resisting the Siren's charm. Furthermore, if AoE heal wasn't enough, then you either also went in with lower then max health or the fight went on too long. You say you were 'destroying the dungeon', yet it is safe to assume your group were somewhat stressed going into the boss room. ![]() You've now discovered why stress damage > health damage and will no doubt fine tune your play accordingly.
